"J. Scott Service Company has gone far beyond making a service call and helping a veteran in need. J. Scott Service Company answered a “NO AIR” service call. After checking the A/C system it was determined the unit needed to be replaced.

During conversation with homeowner, technician found the customer to be 86 years old and a retired Navy Pilot. Plus, he had recently gone thru surgery for cancer and was due a second surgery in less than thirty days. Our retired United States Vet stated he could not afford a new A/C system and he would have to put it off until another time.

Putting it off was not acceptable to J. Scott Service Company. Four days later J. Scott Service Company returned to the home and installed a new Carrier air conditioning system at no cost to the homeowner.

The owner’s son of J. Scott Service Company is also a retired veteran. He set up an account to help cover some of the cost at gofundme.com. J, Scott Service Company was able to offset some of the expense for air conditioning unit and donated all labor and installation cost.

This is the kind of appreciation that all our retired veterans should be receiving. It is so refreshing to hear about the good in people. God bless our veterans and J. Scott Service Company."
